I have worked in the IT industry since 1999 and started using Red Hat Linux around 2000 moving over to Fedora when Red Hat went proprietry. About six months later I purchased my first SuSE box set however I have moved over to openSUSE more recently.

Since 2007 I have also been using ArchLinux to improve my understanding of what goes on 'under the hood' of Linux. While I'm no expert I do have a wealth of 'hands-on' experiance with Linux and Linux systems. I'm currently a member of a number of Linux based mailing lists and Forums and can be found on freenode.net
